EDUCATIONAL AND MUSICAL PROJECT FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Music workshops in primary schools | September 27 to 29

As part of the Festival European Polyphony's educational and artistic project, every year we organise encounters with the Festival's artists to offer different audiences unique musical experiences.

This year, over 1,000 children will benefit from interactive musical workshops in various elementary schools in Rhodes with musicians from the Mikrokosmos Choir. The aim is to instil a taste for musical practice, and to develop listening skills and creativity through musical practice, thereby encouraging encounters with the Festival's guest artists.

Schoolchildren will be able to discover classical music through the voice, by singing different polyphonic songs together. They will be able to exercise their voices together, explore their creativity, play in groups and listen to each other as they take part in a collective creation.

Music walk | Saturday 30 September

These workshops also aim to prepare the children for a musical walk in the old town with the musicians of the Choir Mikrokosmos, giving them the opportunity to join in with the artists of the Festival.
