Gilles Apap is known for his eclecticism and talent for improvisation. He performs original interpretations of the standard classical repertoire, combined with genres such as jazz and folklore from around the world. Myriam Lafargue has been sharing the stage with Gilles Apap for two decades. Their complicity is brilliantly illustrated when they leave the score to improvise together, and continue to understand each other perfectly, creating a unique musical experience.

The event is part of the celebration of the European Heritage Days 2023 entitled “Living Heritage”.

Eva Zavaro, violin and Clement Lefebvre, piano

Venue : Palace of the Grand Master, Medieval City of Rhodes

Eva Zavaro is French, with Polish origins. In this program she links her two origins through 2 important composers, Fauré and Szymanowski, both of whom share dreamlike, nocturnal worlds. With Clément Lefebvre on piano, they explore their poetic universes and bring the two composers together in their respective Sonatas, lullabies and nocturnes. The two musicians will tell the story of the night, its darkness and brightness, threw a program that brings together the differences and similarities of her both countries.
