« PASSION », short film directed by Gabriel Mirété

“PASSION” - Short Film (commission by the 3rd Edition of the Festival)

The French actor and director Gabriel Mirété, participated in the first three editions of the Festival European Polyphony. Inspired by the place and the choir, he wrote and directed this short film, in which he is also the main actor.

Venue: Facade, Church of Evangelismos, Pl. Eleftherias, Rhodes 85100

Time: 8:00 | 8:20 | 8:40 p.m.

This short film was shot between confinements in 2020, in Paris, Vierzon and Rhodes by Gabriel Mirété and his team. Alongside Gabriel, appear Léa Issert, Costis Savvidakis, Spyros Spanos, the Experimental Choir of the Municipality of Rhodes and the Rhodes Theater Company.

A Greek-French coproduction: Festival European Polyphony, Sikana.

Synopsis: Would you be willing to leave everything for your passion? This is what Ionas, a young Greek with a passion for music, will do. He will leave his life on the island of Rhodes in order to join the Mikrokosmos choir in France.
