DETAILED PROGRAM 2021

The Festival European Polyphony celebrates its 3rd edition in Rhodes, from October 22 to 31, 2021.

 

To announce the program and the coming of the French choir Mikrokosmos, the Festival has produced a French-Greek film, which shows the backstage of the artists.

 

The short film "Passion" was shot with the Mikrokosmos choir, actors from France and from the island of Rhodes. It takes you on a 20 minutes’ journey following the story of a young Greek man who decides to leave the island of Rhodes, to live his dream and try to integrate the French choir Mikrokosmos. It was shot between lockdowns, in Paris, Vierzon and Rhodes, a medieval Greek city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

PROGRAM - FEP2021

 

The Festival transforms the Medieval City of Rhodes into a big interactive music workshop.

During ten days, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of art activities: concerts, music workshops, music walk, photo exhibition and screenings. 

 

One of the main goals of the Festival is to empower young people through art and contribute to the promotion of the island of Rhodes as one of the most important artistic capitals in Europe.

Discover the city of Rhodes through the multidisciplinary activities offered by the artists in the most beautiful places in the city.

 

From 22nd  to 31st of October, 2021, you will have the opportunity to discover :

- Concerts which will include the program of the french Choir Mikrokosmos "The Origin of the World" and the program "Sounds of Greece" of the Experimental Choir of the Municipality of Rhodes.
- Music and theater workshops
- Musical walk
- Photo Exhibition
- Screening of the short film "PASSION" and the documentary "Rhodes, crossroad of civilization ”
